Rene Lacaille is a accordist, guitarist, percussionist, drummer, juggler, singer, and musician from the Réunion Island . He represents a musician of exceptional standards with an eagerness to meet new people and share the intense moments.
Marco Lacaille, also born to the same musical family started playing at the age of 14 with his father Rene Lacaille on stage around the world. He initially specialized in the traditional percussion of the island (roulèr, kayamb …) and in the various instruments of Afro-Latin music (cajon, congas, bongos, pandeiro …). He continued the practice of parallel electric bass and singing.
They have performed internationally in Africa, Australia, Europe, Canada, Madagascar, Canada, Singapore and have recorded several albums : MAPOU (2005), CORDÉON Kameleon (2009 – Grand Prize of the Charles Cros Academy); POKSINA (2011), Fanfarone (2014) and GATIR (2015).
