While the Judges deliberate among themselves the relative merits of individual applicants and their submitted work, the administrative team is busy working out the next phase of the project – the logistics.

We have received many queries about when the results will be announced etc. We wish to notify to all interested that the evaluation process is likely to take between 30 – 45 days. The results of the evaluation will posted on this site. Winners will be notified by mail and contacted individually.

Scholarship Details:

• First Prize of 615 Euros per month for 12 months + Social Security + Return airfare from Delhi to Paris
• Second Prize of 615 Euros per month for 6 months + Social Security + Return airfare from Delhi to Paris
• Third Prize of Memento & Automatic Selection in case the first or second prize winners are unable to travel.

Note: The vast majority of courses in France are offered in French language. It is advisable that candidates acquire functional knowledge of the language equal to 200 Hours of French Language Classes before embarking on the fellowship.

The Krishnakriti Foundation – French Ministry of Foreign Affairs Scholarship:

The Krishnakriti Foundation Hyderabad and The French Embassy have selected three Indian artists to study visual arts in prestigious French Institutes of Fine arts. This programme aims to enhance bilateral exchange in the field of visual and fine arts (painting and sculpture) The selection is done through a jury comprising of an eminent Indian artist, Art critique and a specialist from France.

The three winners for the year 2008-2009 selected amongst 83 shortlisted candidates are
1. Mrinmoy Debbarma from Tripura
2. Dhrupdi Ghosh from Kolkata
3. Reji Aracal from Kerala

The third Art Camp (2006) drew into its ambit an array of painters, sculptors and mixed-media practitioners, most of them resident at the Camp while others, unable to attend, contributed works. The artists included Thodore Mesquita from Goa; Vinod Daroz from Baroda; Manu Parekh from New Delhi; Aurle Mechler from Switzerland/ Germany; Giancarlo Lepore from Italy; Dipak Banerjee, Aditya Basak, Avijit Dutta, Manoj Dutta, Ashoke Mullick, K Muralidharan, Prasanta Sahu and Suhas Roy from West Bengal; Vinita Gupta and Vidya Kamat from Mumbai; and Laxma Goud, Alex Mathew, Hari Prasad and Shyamsunder from Andhra Pradesh.

The second Art Camp (2005) expanded its geographical horizons to include Amal Ghosh and Prafulla Mohanti from the UK; Erin Harrell from the USA; Jehangir Jani, Riyas Komu, Baiju Parthan, T V Santhosh and Sudarshan Shetty from Mumbai; Tina Bopiah from Bangalore; and Laxman Aelay, Sajid Bin Amar, K Srinivasa Chari, Kavita Deuskar, Chippa Sudhakar, R Giridhar Gowd, Thota Vaikuntam and U Vijay Kumar from Andhra Pradesh.
